As many of you know, and some may not, Feb 6, 2011 is Ronald W. Reagan's 100th Birthday. Ronald Reagan personified and made it popular to say and believe exactly as most of us do. He ran for President every year form 1962 to 1980, personifying the notion of never giving up. He stood of for pro-liberty views at a time when "the great society" was en vogue and most of the Republican party believed in it. Above all, he reminded disillusioned Americans, sick of a President and press that did nothing but bash America and apologize on our behalf at every turn, that America was "that shiny beacon of light, standing on a hill."
It is for this Reason that Kook and I call on all bloggers, viral producers, media members and Americans in general that we celebrate Feb 11, 2011 as Ronald Reagan Day and dedicate all our material, discussions, and overall discourse to "The Gipper". It is no our goal to make this a "government holiday" as that would be exactly what Reagan would oppose, but let's get everyone on board as possible. If you remember a good story or speech Reagan gave, lets hear it. If you don't remember reagan's great speeches, this would be a great time to learn about the man who set Before us the ideology of the Tea Party.
