House Dem James Clyburn Thinks TSA should give Congresspeople special treatment.

THIS.  IS. THE. PROBLEM.

House Dem calls for 'beefed up' security, special treatment for members by TSA - The Hill's Blog Briefing Room

A top House Democrat said the attack on Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz.) should change how members of Congress are screened at airports.
“I really believe that that is the place where we feel the most ill at ease, is going through airports,” Rep. James Clyburn (D[ouche]-S.C.), who serves as assistant minority  leader in the House, said on "Fox News Sunday."
Clyburn called for the Transportation Security Administration, which administers airport security checkpoints, to interact “a little better” with the Capitol Hill Police.

“We’ve had some incidents where TSA authorities think that congresspeople should be treated like everybody else,” he said. “Well, the fact of the matter is, we are held to a higher standard in so many other areas, and I think we need to take a hard look at exactly how the TSA interact with members of Congress.”…

…Noting that local law enforcement were installed outside his South Carolina home after the attack on Giffords, Clyburn said the House may need to “beef up the funding” for individual members’ budgets so they can coordinate improved security arrangements with local police

And you know what?  He is just the one that forgot to filter his thoughts and said it.  I am sure MANY of them think this way.  At least he deals with the TSA, you know that Nasty Botoxi didn’t deal with them when she was Jet Setting the continent on the taxpayer dime riding in and Air Force plane.

The ruling class wants to be exempt from the rules
Having lived in that part of the country, I know the common term used among Clyburn's constituents for such hypocrisy is "an Uncle Tom". Among that section of society, that is a most derogatory term. Amazingly, those same people who would call Clyburn an "Uncle Tom" for his excessive wealth and lifestyle keep voting him in while he continues to exploit them. They pay no attention to his hypocrisy, just like they give Mullah Hussein a free pass for every attack he commits on the American people with the excuse that "Bush did it too". It is their own ignorance and refusal to hold Clyburn accountable along with their local elected leadership that keeps them in constant poverty. Of course, Clyburn blames that situation on "rich white Republicans", big corporations that actually line his pockets but also create jobs, and tea party supporters that want to end such double standards for elected reps, and his constituency that blindly follows such race pimping and class warfare based social destruction that condemns their children to live in greater poverty than they do. If you were a job creator wanting to expand, would you pick Clyburn's district to do so? And YES, I just called Clyburn an UNCLE TOM. Do something about it if that offends you.
You haven't lost a step, even after some time off. Your timing was impeccable as Clyburn made a statement today to an obscure media outlet that will incite a massive backlash. He stated that Sarah Palin while is attractive, really doesn't get it on anything. Basically, he implied that Palin is only successful because her looks and is nothing more than an "empty pantsuit". Call it a hunch, but I bet there will be nasty backlash over this. There are quite a few women leaders in grassroots (tea party) groups are women and strongly dislike how Palin is treated by DC insiders, especially when it comes from the men. Wait and see...

well lets hope so, Clyburn is Pelosi's Number Two (get it number two) man as assistant minority leader, so it stands to reason that he is an idiot.
DC prints all the money in the world. This proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that even with all the money in the world, you can't polish a turd. -<••€ ever seen that one before? I can't decide whether to call it the "Obama family bellyflops" or restocking the chocopfarm" The "zero" looks better, but the Euro sign is more appropriate
