Firearms refresher training




Some darn good advice from way back at the beginning of our country.

FIREARMS REFRESHER COURSE

An unarmed man is a subject.

13. The Second Amendment is in place in case the politicians ignore the others.

14. What part of 'shall not be infringed' do you NOT understand?

15. Guns have only two enemies; rust and politicians..


16. When you remove the people's right to bear arms, you create slaves.

17. The American Revolution would never have happened with gun control..

Excellent post. I strongly support much tougher penalties for illegal guns, especially outside the home. If someone is carrying an illegal gun out in public, chances are they think there is a good chance they will use it. I'd support a 15 year or greater jail sentence for carrying an illegal (unregistered or stolen) firearm. Owning a gun, like a car is a responsibility. If people knew that carrying an illegal gun meant more than a slap on the wrist, they would not do so. The other day I heard that the total number of criminal shootings nationwide that legal firearms were used was in the 2-300 range. I'd love to know both how many robberies were stopped with such firearms and how many illegal guns were used in shootings last year. I bet both are 20times or more the amount of criminal acts caused by those who own legal guns.
