Clifton from Another Black Conservative on Glenn Beck

By golly I can't believe it, I simply can't. I got home from work this evening and pulled up the DVR for today's Glenn Beck show. Lo and behold the show was part 2 of the "Time to be Heard" black conservative special.

Which is great, right? Good for Beck to turn over this leaf, to show that there are plenty of black conservative/liberty minded citizens. Beyond that point though is something much bigger - Clifton from Another Black Conservative attended the show again and this time was able to make some great points about the issue of the day - Harry Reid and the Democratic Party.

There are some great black conservatives, namely our conservative treasure Thomas Sowell. Sowell is the real deal, he really did pull himself out of the ghetto despite great odds.

But, also walter E. Williams, Ken Hamblin and Allen Keyes. I am glad beck is giving a spotlight to them.

Truth be told, I look forward to the day when identity politics is dead and we no longer have to point out "black conservatives" but this is a gift from the liberals and the only way out is through. By showing minorities other options, hopefully they will grow among our ranks.

I agree totally with your point. I do not care what someones color or race is, I care about their character and their actions.

I love everything Sowell writes.
