Comrades: Rejoice!

A song:

1.
Unbreakable union of freeborn republics
Great Russia has welded forever to stand!
Created in struggle by will of the peoples
United and mighty, our Soviet land!

CHORUS:

Glory to our great Motherland, mighty and free,
Bulwark of people, in brotherhood strong!
Oh! Party of Lenin! The strength of the people.
To Communism's triumph lead us on!

2.
Through tempests the sun rays of freedom have cheered us
Along the new path where great Lenin did lead!
To a righteous cause he raised up the people
Inspired them to labour and valorous deed!

CHORUS

3.
In the victory of Communism's deathless ideal,
We see the future of our dear land
And to her fluttering scarlet banner,
selflessly true, we always shall stand!

CHORUS

Now our glorious government not only can take care of all of our medical needs, but also decide for us how much money we can get for school, help us make the decision where to go, and probably what course of study would be best for the state and all of our hardworking comrades.

How wonderful it will be when our Dear Leader and the rest of the politburo can place us all in homes that will be the best for the collective.  Soon we will no longer have to worry about the gas in our tanks, because we will no longer have cars. Rejoice!

-KOOK

I could say it in English, 2 ways in Spanish (Puerto Ricans and Cubans say it differently) and in Creole. Pointing that fact out is just as effective as saying it.
We will retake America.it will be a long hard fight
**We will retake America.it will be a long hard fight**

I dunno. I spent the weekend skiing with about 8 Swedes. During the last night, it was "grill the Americans night"...where they basically asked us all kinds of questions about everything form healthcare to gun rights. I may as well have been a Martian from Mars. The concept of limited government and freedom were of ZERO value to them. All they could keep telling me was how much stuff they got for FREE. If we don't repeal this thing in less than 10 years, Americans will be just as dependent and the idea of living without it just as foreign to them.

Did you ask them why Keys, Clothes Hangers, Food, and Petrol cost so ridiculously much in their country, or why they pay over half their wages in taxes? From my understanding they have no concept of the amount of corruption we have in our system
Ofcourse, I asked and they just kept repeating "Do we look poor"...And ofcourse, not. I was with the "elites" of this society. Engineers, etc. I tried to explain politely that to live as an average middle class American (used to) lives you have to be upper echelon in their society.

They kept saying "we don't mind paying because we get so much in return"...TWILIGHT ZONE!!!

It got pretty uncomfortable, actually. (:
Sheesh. Well, it is a different culture. I have heard the story of the tobelrone bought on a govt credit card over there that got someone removed from office or whatever.

They may have money, and be elite but the standard of living that I am used to is not achievable in Sweden for someone like me.

I am 33, I am buying my 3000 sq ft. home on two acres with a three car detached garage, I have a two year old 30k+ dollar vehicle, a boat and a motorcycle. I have never been turned away for healthcare yet. I have no educational debt, and have a BS degree. I make the average wage for a family in this area. Housekeys cost a buck, I can eat a steak dinner at a really nice restaurant for around $25, gas is currently $2.59 - I dont think they are getting more than that in return, and think about how much MORE I could have if I was not supporting "my fair share" of the indolently unemployed. For what benefit? Other than the Highways nothing.
Gas is 3.30 here. Dang.

Then again, you live in an area where common sense is still kinda common. Come live here in the zoo for a bit and you will understand why many folks from places like NY and LA are "different." There are good people in places like that too. One of the candidates I am supporting here was a first responder on 9/11 and a native New Yorker as most caucasians that live here are.
Swedes don't have freedom woven into their culture. They, like the rest of Europe had Kings and Popes for the last 2000 years. Even our young people, as indoctrinated as they are, have lived under varying amounts of freedom and even they are turning on Obama now. I was just at a college where a Republican (previously independent libertarian) running for Congress was supposed to debate his liberal opponent but got stood up so the West Palm Beach Mayor stepped in. Interesting that when asked if they would vote for Obama again, less than half said yes. So, there is hope for us yet, but we gotta fix lots of problems very quickly, (like when Reagan came in).
There are good folks everywhere. I lived in San Bernadino County part time as a kid. I know about people who are "different"
