I am for all the LEGAL immigration that there is. I am for more of it, we need it. I will welcome anyone who truly wants to come here and meld with us and become a productive member of society. I love “brown” people, some of my best friends are Latino or married to Latinos. I strongly support an easier path to citizenship. The door is here. But I don’t like the idea of people climbing through the window.
But what we have is not an Immigration Issue, recent events such as the banning of wearing the US Flag in the United States because of a Mexican Holiday and others, evidence of which is plentiful for those who will look, make this clear. No, what we have is a colonization issue.
There is a large group of Mexican and to a lesser extent other Latino nationals, who categorically do NOT want to come to this country to assimilate. They do not wish to become part of OUR nation. They want our nation to become part of theirs. They want to come here and live, but with their culture, and their language, and their customs, and their beliefs – and very few of ours.
I have read plenty to support the claim that Mexico understands that its greatest export is labor, and that it gives back door assistance to its’ own people to encourage the practice of being an alambristo, or fence crosser. Indeed, many of the illegals send most of the money they make back home. They do not intend to stay, and if they do intend to stay, they do not ever intend to assimilate. Need proof?

The theory is that the reverse will happen as Mexicans, Native Americans, Central Americans, and First Nation peoples will eventually become so numerous in that region that they can wield substantial influence, including political power.
We joke about it, but it is true. What is the famous line from Braveheart? “The Problem with Scotland is that it is full of Scots…If we can’t run them out, we will breed them out!”
Well, the problem with the southwest united states, for Mexicans, is that it is full of US citizens. And since they didn’t run us out, they decided to just move back in anyway. I freely and openly admit that for certain in 1846 the (Democratic) administration of Polk wanted, and pushed hard for, a war with Mexico. History suggests that many in Mexico did as well. In fact many Europeans thought Mexico would whip us in short order. I believe that it was definitely a war of aggression waged by the US. In time, I believe that we could have bought the land cheaply from them. but I digress.
When we began as a nation, England, Spain, and France all sent colonists to North and Central America. In turn they expected taxes be paid back to the homeland. Not to put too fine a point over it, our ancestors took this land from the Natives, we started as colonists and now we run the place. The colonists would have been immigrants if they had MELDED with the Natives. They didn’t, that made them colonists, because they still spoke their language, dressed according to their fashion, ate according to their custom, worshipped according to their beliefs, and generally lived apart but inside the borders.
Tell me how this is different from our current issue in the SouthWest? They will not 
learn the language, instead we cater to their desire to speak and be spoken to in Spanish. Products are labeled in Spanish, education is taught in Spanish. They do not really respect the laws of this nation or our customs, as evidenced by the many photos on the web, and their indifference to our immigration policies (flawed though they are).
The Mexican government knows their is 
a huge migration, even if they don’t sponsor it, neither do they condemn it, and in fact it is pretty evident they tacitly encourage it. Their citizens come here, move into their own miniature isolated communities and set up shop. Groups such as La Raza (the KKK with a tan) align themselves with SEIU and ACORN and other Socialist groups. They identify with Che. The DemocRats do not see these people as Illegal Immigrants; they see them as Undocumented Democrats, and Indeed, whoever gives them amnesty will be in power for the next half century.
But make no mistake many will never assimilate into our culture. They will remain separate, yet actively pandered to for their voting power. But, they will only use that power to remove, as much as possible, the culture of the USA and supplant it with their culture, just like the early american colonists did. Just as the Spanish did to the Aztecs and the English did to the Cherokee. They send a large portion back to the homeland helping the home economy. When they make their stake, they leave, or they stay, never attempting to become Citizens of this country.
It is not illegal immigration, it is creeping colonization.
