1) They consistently abet and defend the criminal rather than the victim.


2) They promote moral relativism and immorality.


3) They promote "diversity" and "equality" while being intolerant of anyone who has a differing point of view


4) Progressives enable the poor to be and stay poor, and promote permanent dependence on the government.


5) They persecute, marginalize and censor (at least attempt to) any person who espouses any traditional, Christian, or conservative point of view.


6) They resort to name calling when the facts do not support their agenda. This happens quite a bit since the facts usually don't support their arguments.


7) Progressives distort history in order to advance their agenda.


8) There are many instances where progressives simply omit either partial or complete segments from history.


9) Progressives are oblivious to reality.


10) They promote indoctrination of our youth


11) Progressives have anti-Semitic sympathies


12) Progressives themselves have been so desensitized and indoctrinated by the MSM or Left-wing extreme news that they see any fair & balanced news as a "right-wing" distortion of facts.


13) Progressives think that they represent the mainstream of America because they have people like George Soros (Spooky Dude) aggressively promoting their point of view when in fact they don't represent mainstreet America.


14) They encourage class warfare.


15) They believe in the rights of union employees but not the employers.


16) They are ignorant and sympathetic with our enemies when it comes to foreign policy.


17) Progressives believe in "spreading the wealth". They believe that they have a "right" for the government - taxpayers- to take care of them so they don't have to take responsibility and take care of themselves.


18) Instead of truly fixing medicare, medicaid, and the cost of our health care, progressives would rather demagogue the issue and advocate rationing or euthanasia for the vulnerable - sick and elderly.

19) They prey on the most vulnerable and innocent, promoting the murder pre-born children because of what they call "choice".


20) Progressives promote the "you are a racist" or racism meme.


21) They promote statism - strong, big centralized government, communism, socialism, welfare state


22) Progressives promote a mob-like mentality.


23) They demonize the wealthy, the job creators.


24) Progressives believe in power, and in obtaining an enormous amount of power and control over our lives.


25) They believe in racial reparations when those who are in existence today have no history of keeping blacks as slaves.


26) Progressives believe in forcing taxpayers to relinquinsh funds - i.e. their earnings - over to the government instead of true charity from the heart.


27) They don't believe in the Constitution, but see it as an outdated paper which is interfering with their endgame.


28) They ONLY use the Constitution when it fits with their agenda.


29) Progressives are anti-God, anti-prayer in the public sphere, and promote separation of church and state when that is seen nowhere within the Constitution.


30) Simply stated, they're WRONG!

  It is not likely that Stern is going to be given a MORE high profile position. The reason he is probably moving/changing is because he has been shown to be too HIGH profile already. These people do their work in the weeds under the cover of darkness, A la Van Jones.  They cannot stand the sunlight. He has been caught out in the sun and widely reported as being the most frequent visitor to Chairman Zero's throne room. He is just going to go back underground. He may be moved to a liberal policy think thank, or may be called back to the mother ship at the Soros Foundation, or create a new evil organization.  That is what they do. Old Hippie Rabble Rousers never die they just create new organizations and rebrand themselves. That is what they have done since the sixties.

Eric Holder: Obama’s deranged Idiot cousin.

Usama bin Laden (I don’t know why but it irritates me when they spell it Usama.  Usama/Osama who cares?  Spelling it with a “U” seems to be the “friendlier” thing to do or something) will never be captured alive, Attorney General Eric Holder told lawmakers on Tuesday. "The possibility of capturing him alive is infinitesimal," Holder said. "He will be killed by us, or he will be killed by his own people so that he is not captured by us. We know that. ... The possibility simply does not exist."

[SNIP] Republicans … suggested he intends to treat terrorism suspects as "common criminals." Holder said such suggestions tend to "get my blood boiling," calling them "anything but the truth."

He said the "apt" comparison is to mass murderers like Charles Manson, …Trying to  explain the analogy, Holder said mass murderers like Manson still reserve the right to go before a jury and have the charges against them proved beyond a reasonable doubt. "In some ways I think they're comparable people, in some ways," Holder said.

Rep. John Culberson, R-Tex., called that response "incredible." "This is where the disconnect between this administration in your mindset is so completely opposite that of where the vast majority of the American people are," Culberson said. "This is war, and in a time of war we as a nation have never given Constitutional rights to foreign nationals, enemy soldiers, certainly captured overseas."

[snip] As for the Charles Manson analogy, Holder said he was simply trying to think of a mass murderer. [Snip] "The comparison is between people who have committed the most heinous acts and have been charged in [civilian] courts."

  Still, Culberson found the Charles Manson analogy ill-advised. "By granting Usama bin Laden the right to appear in a U.S. courtroom, you are clothing Usama bin Laden with the protections of the U.S. Constitution," he said.

[Snip] Holder may be the first U.S. official to say unequivocally that bin Laden will never be captured alive, but he is not the first to raise such a possibility. In October 2001, shortly after the 9/11 attacks, then-Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld said bin Laden may never be captured, adding that capturing or killing the Al Qaeda leader would be "very difficult." "It's a big world," he told USA Today. "There are lots of countries. He's got a lot of money, he's got a lot of people who support him and I just don't know whether we'll be successful. Clearly, it would be highly desirable to find him."

The biggest reason he will not be taken alive they left unsaid.  We are not really looking for him and he will die of old age, someday. For heaven’s sake it's been 9 years and you're telling me that if the United States really, really, wanted this guy we would not have found him?

Holder is effin delusional, just like the pResident, and it speaks to Obama's mindset as well. This obvious moonbat would have probably tried to prosecute the Japanese for Pearl Harbor- AT LEAST they attacked a Military Base, not Civilians in offices.  Charlie Manson, an apt comparison?  Manson was responsible for 8 murders, not thousands, and not acts of war. Bin Laden orchestrated the attacks on The WTC, The Pentagon, and just where do you think the other plane was going? (hint) 

  No, an apt comparison between Osama and someone else would be Hitler, or one of the top people of the SS, rounding up and killing people for being Jewish.  No wonder they don’t see the Hamas or Hezbollah as big deals, they are just firing rockets into civilian homes, that is kinda like what Billy Ayers did isn’t it?

I used to believe Osama was dead, now I am open to the possibility that he is still alive, but we are not looking for him.  And to quote Rumsfield...that pisses me off as well, We HAD HIM (here is another better account) and he let turf warfare and political considerations get in the way.

If I had my way we would capture his skinny ass, take him to ground zero and give him to a pack of wild starving hogs....

or better yet just simply shoot him where we find him so dickheads like Holder can't sing effin Kum Ba Ya with him.

Back to the Dilemma at hand with a new option

The Kook’s age old and much mind-torturing dilemma:  When it comes to politicians; after really distilling, refracting, running it through the Gas Chromatographic Mass Spectrometer…you are really faced with (I used to say two) three conclusions. 

 

They are:

 

 

 

1.  Rampant, zealous, drooling, incompetence, of the sort not usually  seen amongst non recipients of the Darwin Award.


2. Dr. Doom level,  Lex Luthorian, Jokeresque,  Pure D undiluted® Evil  that usually only exists in comic books or movies.
  
3. Wild Eyed, Hale Bopp, Jonestownian, Make love not war, pass the weed, galactic do gooder, know it all, True Believers in Progressivism.

My opinion on this changes daily, sometimes hourly, with the headlines. There is a strong case for option #2, but there is a logical axiom that roughly translated states “never ascribe to evil, what incompetence will answer” which strengthens the case for number 1.  However, as cynical and realistic  pessimistic as I am. One would really, really, have to stretch to believe in the enormous levels of stupidity that would be necessary to a)have people so stupid as to vote for representatives that stupid b) those people who are that stupid be able to actually find the polls be able to vote for people that incredibly stupid.  However this argument is strongly supported by the website “People of Wal-Mart”. 

At least for today, the strongest contender is Option #3.  These know it all do-gooders on a galactic scale TRULY, MADLY, DEEPLY believe (well most of them anyway) that they are SUPERIOR than the Citizenry as a whole and one way of another, by hook or (mostly) by crook, they are going to do what is best for us, even if it kills U.S. (meaning us), whether we like it or not.
 

History, the sum of human knowledge, all logic and reason, be damned.  You see, you simply cannot use logic, reason, and finely structured arguments, evidence, or case histories to dissuade someone who is dealing purely on emotion and faith to sway them from their belief.  They have Faith, Faith in themselves and their vision, faith that they are superior and a belief that they are both correct and have have the responsibility and mandate to kill us with kindness

MAN, I still don’t know which option I fear the most, and the worst part  is…even if we beat them again this time.  We will have to defeat it again, and again, and again.  Progressivism is like the evil offspring of Voldemort, The Terminator, and the Energizer Bunny. 

Question: How many freaking times does history have to prove the fallacy of this ideaology? 

Answer: Every. Time.

Beware: Hell hath frozen over

This was a comment AD33 made to an earlier post and I thought it should be a post of its own. This is all in reference to pResident "Chairman Zero" Obamarx telegraphing his war exit strategy to our enemies. If FDR and Churhill had told the Germans the day date and time of D-day do you think it would have been successful? No. Obamarx has guaranteed our failure in Afghanistan because he has told our enemies that if they can just hold put we will leave. He might as well have bowed to them and the only reason he hasn't us because he hasn't been in the same room as any of Al Queda's leadership.

To quote Chris Mathews ( a first for this blog), "If I were Al qaeda and the Taliban, I'd circle the withdrawal date as the day to start their "surge." You know that when Chris "what's wrong with calling al Qaeda" Mathews gets it, then it must not even be to the level of common sense. So easy a caveman could figure it out. (now the cavemen won't be so offended by geico commercials as being compared to Mathews is far worse.)

“This unbelievable move by the Obama Administration represents a politicized attempt to hinder one of our most effective illegal immigration enforcement mechanisms, the 287(g) program.

“The key to combating illegal immigration is federal, state, and local cooperation.  This is why we believe it is crucial for the federal government to continue to support individuals like Sheriff Joe Arpaio and the implementation of agreements under section 287(g), which provides for the Department of Homeland Security to delegate authority to enforce federal immigration laws to state and local officials.  To date, hundreds of local officers have been trained in enforcing U.S. immigration laws, and nowhere in the country is this more critical than in Maricopa County.  Currently, over 33% of inmates in Maricopa County Sheriff facilities are illegal, and more than 53% of violent crimes in Maricopa County are committed by illegal immigrants.

 

 

Life on a Farm and Intellectual Dishonesty

I was reading BNGFan’s post regarding Sherriff Joe (America's sheriff) and the inmate who wanted an abortion. It is a great little post and it made me think. I spent a great portion of my youth on Pa’s farm. We still raise cattle there. We raise them to eat. Now we know that we are raising Beef cattle and to some that would mean that we are the world’s worst barbarians. My grandpa would have been in his late sixties and I in my early teens. We had an old cow who was in labor and she was down and we were trying to help her but it was not going well. Here is a, not completely, domesticated (at least in the way you think of horses or dogs) animal who does not really want your help, she weighs somewhere around 900 pounds and she is down. Calf coming out all upside down and backwards. To top it all off this has got to be the biggest calf I have ever seen trying to fight his way into the world. So picture this, she is lying out in the field, it is muddy, wet, filthy, and bloody, it is getting twilight, she is down, she is hurting, we can’t get her up, we can’t get the calf turned, and it is about to die, and her chances of living are falling fast too, because the thing is just too big. Now if we were evil barbarians knowing that the calf was as good as dead, and the cow was rapidly losing her chances you would think we would cut our losses, and just shoot her, right? Well I cannot speak for every rancher/farmer but I was taught that,when you raise animals, although we kill them and eat them when it is time, we also have a responsibility to protect and care for them. Just like in the Lion King, the circle of life. We don’t just let a cow die, we have a responsibility. We own it, we probably raised it, it depends on us for food and health and although it is not a pet, we do see them as more than meat or money on the hoof.

So we get the truck and the trailer and the tractor and we proceed to lift and push her into the trailer. We call the vet, Doc Baker will meet us at his office, it is an hour drive. An hour later we arrive at the Vet’s, it is past supper time now. We fashion a ramp and tie her off to the barn and drive the truck out from under her. Somehow we get her on her feet. She has been in labor since sometime right after lunch, we realized she had trouble mid afternoon, we worked on her until dark, it is now over an hour past that. The calf is in a bad position and is huge. Doc reaches it and feels around and sure enough the calf is dead. What follows was one of the worst experiences on the farm I have been through. If nothing is done the cow will die shortly. Her hips are already so disjointed she can barely stand, and if she was not in the chute she would fall. Doc gets a piece of cable saw and reaches in and positions it between the front legs of the calf and on one side of its neck and then cuts the calf in half back through the shoulders and pulls that piece out. A little repositioning and a repeating of the process and one hind leg comes out. Lastly he pulls the other leg and abdomen out. It looks just like a calf, but it is lying in a pile in three pieces in the dirt. It has hair, and eyelashes, and big brown eyes, and it is, although very large for a newborn, still a baby calf. It should have been walking around and lookin’ all cute the way baby’s of every species do. Instead it is lying like meat in three pieces on the ground, it might have lived if we had gotten her to the doctor a few hours previously, then again, it was so big I am not sure. Then Doc has to retrieve the placenta because the cow gave up pushing hours ago. Pa asks Doc, “you think the mama will make it?” Doc says “I don’t know, she will not be able to stand but if you can keep her on antibiotics and get her to eat and drink a bit she might.” Some painkillers for her and some stitches and then we spent another hour getting her back in the trailer and another hour driving back. Pa attended to her for about a week, and gradually the ol’ gal got better. I am sure Pa sold her not long after that and she probably ended up hamburgers. The point is this, that was almost twenty years ago, and I still remember. Doc Baker was at home, he didn’t have to get back out that late at night to do what he did. We didn’t have to pay all the money hauling her and medicating her, and the vet bill notwithstanding; she was just a beef cow right? I remember that baby calf lying in the dirt, flies buzzing around it, it was all wet and it had a pink little nose and big long eyelashes and it was lying in three pieces…dead. I remember it still.

These same assholes that think Partial Birth abortion is fine and dandy are the same people that think clubbing a seal and wearing fur is abhorrent. The only two differences between my story with the calf and a partial birth abortion is the calf was dead and the baby isn’t; and Babies are humans. I am not one of these people who say that all lives are equal. If it was between my hunger and a cow dying, I’ll take my Steak medium well, thanks. But some of the idiots we have in the White House actually believe that there is no difference between one life and another, and they think that abortion is ok, yet hunting wolves that are decimating the caribou herds is akin to the genocide in Darfur… I am intellectually honest in my position. All lives have worth, and yet some lives are going to have to be lost to provide for the circle of life. On the other hand I am saddened by the needless death of something that only a few years later I would have killed myself to provide food for me and mine and remember it plainly twenty years later. We spent far more on the old cow than she was worth, treating her and caring for her; and yet she still ended up as meat. Where is the intellectual honesty of people who say that aborting a child, and some even say up until he has the concept to understand his place in society, is acceptable; and culling predators who are driving other animals to near extinction thus preventing famine of the predators themselves, or the outrage over whales, seals, chickens, etc. used for food and clothing is barbaric? Abortion ok, killing animals for food bad? I love beef but feel remorse for veal. I Like eating goose, but I am not really wild about what it takes to make Fois Gras (and it is gross anyway).

I say all lives have the right to be born and be lived to the best of their ability, we have the responsibility to care for the animals and not treat them cruelly, at the same time we should not Humanize animals to put them on equal terms with our own species. How can we elevate a good dog, a seal, or a beef cow above that of an infant? Some people actually believe that the dog that is trained to get the newspaper’s life is worth more than a newborn baby’s and some of them are in the White House. Not only is that plainly crazy, it is intellectually dishonest. I think if everyone grew up on a farm raising animals they would understand. Instead we have people who think abortion is ok, and KFC is a sin.

Anita Dunn: Been on Meds too long?

Did anyone notice the weird things Anita Dunn does with her face when she is speaking?  She looks like a dog with peanut butter in its’ mouth.  I thought it must have been some sort of psychological disorder or as a result of a  neurological problem.  Apparently it is.  It looks like she might have Tardive Dyskinesia, the symptoms certainly fit and several people claiming to be medical professionals support the theory.  If true it would be as a result of long term high dosage of anti-psychotic medication.

Hate crimes : Eric Holder, FBI, from The Right Stuff

What constitutes a "hate crime?" According to the FBI, a subdivision of the Department of Justice, the official definition is a "criminal offense against a person or property motivated in whole or in part by an offender's bias against a race, religion, disability, ethnic origin or sexual orientation." Sounds pretty fair, eh? I mean, we'd all agree that crime itself is bad enough, but targeting someone just because of their skin color makes it worse, right?

A House resolution passed this summer as part of a larger defense bill. Here's the title of the resolution:

PROHIBITION ON RECRUITMENT, ENLISTMENT, OR RETENTION OF PERSONS ASSOCIATED OR AFFILIATED WITH GROUPS ASSOCIATED WITH HATE-RELATED VIOLENCE AGAINST GROUPS OR PERSONS OR THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT

That's right. The U.S. Government has put itself on a par with Matthew Shepard and James Byrd. Commit a crime against a black in the name of white supremacy? Hate crime. Beat a homosexual to a bloody pulp while yelling slurs? Hate crime. Organize a rally against government policy in the name of freedom? Hate crime.




The most disturbing part of the legislative text lies within Section 524. This part of the text must have been written by George Orwell himself. The resolution uses the phrase "...as determined by the Attorney General" multiple times. In short, current Attorney General Eric Holder will determine what constitutes a hate crime. The Founding Fathers would have called this tyranny, and they would have been exactly right.

Subsection 2 of Section 524 reads as follows:

A “Hate Group” is defined both explicitly and as “other groups or organizations that are determined by the attorney general to be of a violent and extremist in nature.”

The "evidence" that a person belongs to what is deemed a "hate group" by the AG is defined very clearly in Subsection 3 of Section 524 of the resolution.

“...a person is associated or affiliated with a group associated with hate-related violence...Individuals known to have attended meetings, rallies, conferences, or other activities sponsored by a hate group. Individuals known to be involved in online activities with a hate group, including being engaged in online discussion groups or blog or other postings that support, encourage, or affirm the group’s extremist or violent views and goals. Individuals who are known to have in their possession photographs, written testimonials (including diaries or journals), propaganda, or other materials indicating involvement or affiliation with a hate group. Such materials can include photographs, written materials relating to or referring to extreme hatred that are clearly not of an academic nature, possession of objects that venerate or glorify hate inspired violence, and related materials, as determined by the Attorney General.” [emphasis mine]

Now, let's put the pieces together. Eric Holder has free reins to determine who is and is not a member of a "hate group," a term determined by Holder's personal whims. And let's be real: Holder isn't exactly the paradigm of fairness.

The firm he worked for before ascending to AG has represented enemy combatants housed at Guantanamo Bay, and Holder himself has said:

"In the end, Guantanamo will be closed, and I think that that is an appropriate thing to do, given the fact that it has served and I think continues to serve as a recruiting for those who intend to do this nation harm, and has served as a wedge between us and those nations that are our allies."

So there it is. His rationale for closing Gitmo is because it keeps the radical Muslims plotting against us. FYI, Mr. Holder: They hate us and want us dead whether Gitmo stays open or not.

The determination of a "hate crime" lies in the hands of one man should this come to pass.

"Mr. Orwell....paging Mr. Orwell..."



And now, on to the FBI...


THE FBI CONNECTION TO HATE CRIMES

At the beginning of this post, I gave you the FBI definition of a "hate crime." How does this all tie together with AG Eric Holder? It's a little murky, but stay with me.

As AG, Holder is the last say so for the FBI. The FBI director reports to Holder and Obama. That's it. So let's say, hypothetically, that the FBI receives information that a small group of church members are planning to organize an anti-abortion rally on the steps of the Supreme Court. Not wanting an ugly scene, Holder could then have the FBI investigate said church members. If any literature found within their homes is deemed as evidence of belonging to a "hate group" by Holder, the little old lady who decided to help stop the scourge of abortion by peacefully protesting will be brought up on "hate crime" charges. It's the Gestapo on steroids.

Who would be giving information to the FBI of potential hate crimes? Hang on, folks. This will blow your mind.

The FBI has forged partnerships nationally and locally with many civil rights organizations to establish rapport, share information, address concerns, and cooperate in solving problems. These groups include such organizations as the NAACP, the Southern Poverty Law Center, the Anti-Defamation League, the National Asian Pacific American Legal Consortium, and the National Organization for Women.

This is a virtual rogue's gallery of leftist groups. If they feel a "hate crime" has been committed, or let's say that they've just gotten their panties in a twist, they go directly to their partner, the FBI. And who does the FBI report to? If you said "The AG, who will determine what constitutes a 'hate crime'", move to the head of the class.

One group that jumped out at me on the FBI site was the Southern Poverty Law Center. This is one of the most whiny group of progressives and socialists to take up space in this country, and they have an interactive map of what they have dubbed "hate groups" in each state.

In my home state of Pennsylvania, here are some of the groups put into the same category as the Ku Klux Klan and Aryan Nation.

Alliance for Catholic Tradition
Council of Conservative Citizens
Catholic Apologetics International
While I know nothing about these groups and their methods, I will say, in all fairness, that the New Black Panther Party and Nation of Islam are also on the SPLC list of "hate groups." But since when is belonging to a group of conservative citizens equated with belonging to the Klan? Maybe since the partnership with Eric Holder's FBI was formed? It is quite the possibility.


I wonder if Eric Holder and the FBI are following this advice:

What is the Nobel Peace Prize? Why No One Should Care

The Blogoshpere ‘sploded this morning with the news that his high holiness, the One, the Obamessiah, our own pResident and Chairman Zero won the (not so) coveted Nobel Prize. The Sundries Shack, BBCW, Left Coast Rebel, The Right Stuff,  Feed Your ADHD,  The Rational Jingo, MAinfo, Right Klik, Guys, you know I love you all, we are all in this together but we should not be so upset with this pick…and before you lynch me read why I think this.  Or you can just read TCL’s Post

Alfred Nobel was a Swede who is  most notable as the inventor of dynamite,which incidentally has done more to further human advancement than it ever did as a weapon of war.  But due to his reputation as a war monger in his last will he used his fortune to institute the Nobel Prizes. The prizes are awarded for eminence in physical science, chemistry, medical science, literature and, “Peace”.  The Peace Prize  is to be given to the person or society that “renders the greatest service to the cause of international fraternity, in the suppression or reduction of standing armies, or in the establishment or furtherance of peace congresses”. 

Alfred Nobel's will stated that the prize should be awarded by a committee of five people elected by the Norwegian Parliament.  The Peace Prize,the only Nobel Prize not presented in Stockholm, Sweden is presented annually on the anniversary of Nobel's death in Oslo, Norway in the presence of the king.

Nominations for the Prize may be made by a broad array of qualified individuals, including former recipients, members of national assemblies and congresses, university professors (in certain disciplines), international judges, and special advisors to the Prize Committee. In 2009, a record 205 nominations were received. The Committee keeps the nominations secret, however, nominations from 1901 to 1955 have been released in a database.  When the past nominations were released it was discovered that Adolf Hitler was nominated in 1939 by Erik Brandt, a member of  Parliament.  Other infamous nominees included Joseph Stalin and Benito Mussolini. Nomination only requires the support of one person and does not mean that the committee would actually AWARD the prize to someone like that, but it does speak to the types of people that “qualified people” nominate.  The Peace Prize has always been the most politicized and controversial of the awards.

The peace-laureates often have a lifetime's history of working at and promoting humanitarian issues, as in the examples of German medic Albert Schweitzer (1952), Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., (1964) and Aung San Suu Kyi, a Buddhist nonviolent pro-democracy activist (1991). On the other hand, many of them are…*ahem*… questionable:

• President Theodore Roosevelt (4th worst US president of All Time) received the  Prize in 1905 for helping negotiate an end to the Russo-Japanese War. However, he played a role in the suppression of a revolt in the Philippines. And there was that whole Spanish American war thingy , you know,  Rough Riders, San Juan Hill, Medal of Honor Nomination because of his valor in battle… For those that may not know this “splendid little war” was the US ONLY foray into imperialism.
• Woodrow Wilson (2nd Worst US president of All Time) was awarded the Prize in 1919 for founding the League of Nations (Epic Fail) 
• Cordell Hull was awarded the Nobel Prize in Peace in 1945 in recognition several things including his work to establish the UN. Hull was FDR's (3rd Worst US president of All Time) Secretary of State during the SS St. Louis Crisis. The SS St. Louis left Germany in the  summer of 1939 carrying over 950 Jewish refugees seeking asylum from Nazi persecution just before WWII.  Initially FDR was mildly  supportive of taking some of those on board, but vehement opposition by Hull and from Democrats resulted in  Roosevelt denying the ship entry to the US. The ship was forced to return to Germany where over a quarter of its passengers subsequently died in the Holocaust. (you know, unless like immadinnajacket you believe it didn’t happen)
• The Secretary of State Henry A. Kissinger received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1973 for his work on the Vietnam Peace Accords, despite having instigating the bombings in Cambodia,  Operation Condor and supporting the Turkish intervention in Cyprus resulting in the de facto partition of the island.
• Rigoberta Menchú won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1992, in part for her autobiography I, Rigoberta Menchu in which she heavily fabricated events in her family history in the book to further the guerilla cause. That is right… for the most part, the book was a lie.
• Yasser Arafat, was a joint winner in  1994.  Arafat was an unrepentant terrorist with a long legacy of promoting violence between Israel and Palestine.
• Jimmy Carter (5th worst US President of All Time) was awarded the 2002 Nobel Peace Prize. The announcement of the award came shortly after the U.S. House and Senate gave President George W. Bush authorization to use military force against Iraq in order to enforce U.N. Security Council resolutions requiring that Baghdad give up weapons of mass destruction. Asked if the selection a criticism of Bush, Gunnar Berge, head of the Nobel committee, said: "…it can and must also be seen as criticism of …the current U.S. administration ..."
• Wangari Maathai, 2004 winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, was reported  to as stating that AIDS was originally developed by Western scientists in order to depopulate Africa. She  denied these claims, but, in a Time magazine interview, shesaid that someone knows where it came from and that it "...did not come from monkeys."
• Al Gore (Worlds biggest idiot and hypocrite) and the IPCC (UN), joint 2007 winners of the Nobel Peace Prize, have had the validity of their winning of the prize disputed as many believe global warming is neither man-made nor a problem, and have claimed the decision was politically motivated.
• In fact the UN has received the Peace Prize 5 times.
• Barack Obama, (Current Nominee for #1 worst US President of all time, narrowly unseating Woodrow Wilson) 2009 winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, was nominated for the award after being in office for 11 whole days.

This is a prize handed out by NORWAY a country with a population less than Louisiana, a land area about the size of New Mexico, and a GDP roughly that of Pennsylvania’s.  Norway is an enormous supporter and player in the UN.  The same UN whose policies run counter to virtually all US interests. This prize  has been handed out to some of the most corrupt, dishonest, and warmongering people in the world.  A prize for which Hitler, Stalin, and Mussolini have been nominated.  Did I mention they nominated him for the prize after he had been in office 11 days… 

Taking all of that into account, please tell me why, #1 we care, or #2 why we are even shocked that the Obamessiah won it?   It is an irrelevant award, given out by a corrupt group of individuals, by a (far left) bit player on the world stage.  If anything it is further evidence that he sucks.

The New Party – A little remembered fact.

The New Party was a third political party in the United States that was active from 1992 to 1998.

The New Party was founded in the early 1990s by Daniel Cantor, a former staffer for Jesse Jackson's 1988 presidential campaign, and by sociology and law professor Joel Rogers as an effort to break with the largely unsuccessful history of left-leaning third parties in the United States.

The party could best be described as social democratic (for those that do not know, social democracy supports positions that include support for a democratic welfare state merging elements of socialism and capitalism, resulting in a mixed economy combined with a comprehensive welfare state) in orientation, although party statements almost invariably used the terms "small-d democratic" or "progressive" instead. Its founders chose the name "New Party" in an effort to strike a fresh tone, free of associations with dogmas and ideological debates.

After a false start in New York, the New Party built modestly successful chapters in several states. Some of these chapters — such as those in Chicago and Little Rock — had their main bases of support in the low-income community organizing group ACORN, along with some support from various labor unions especially the SEIU or Service Employees International Union. Left-wing critics of the New Party, such as supporters of the Green Party, argued that the New Party was merely a pressure group on the fringes of the Democratic Party, rather than a genuinely new political party

My point? We the American People were not told about these things during the campaign or before. If anything Beck, O’Reilly, and all the blogs have been too kind to the legacy media and the Oministration. The ties are deeper and worse than anyone ever imagined. Wait…you didn’t zoom in the picture did you? Look at it. That is right, our Dear Leader was endorsed by this “party”. This got like one mention in the press that I can remember during the election but BHO said that he was not a member of the party and the story lost traction and was forgotten. The more we learn of Van Jones, and the rest of the gang the more we seem shocked at the layers upon layers of connections to Statism (Socialism/Communism, etc.) and Radicalism. We recently learned that Valerie Jarrett’s mother worked for Bill Ayers’ Father. And that her Father in Law was friends with Frank Marshall Davis, who was friends with BHO’s Grandfather. Davis as we all know was a mentor to young Barry Obama-Soetoro. That they all knew each other is a given. I do not want to rehash what many of you know, and if you do not know it just Google those names together to catch up. The point I want to make is that how in heaven’s name did this guy get this far with these ties? We all know the corruption in the so called MSM. But I have difficulty wrapping my head around just how BAD it is. I knew McCain was a lame duck, but I didn't realize just how bad he was either. With all of this DIRT everywhere on the now pResident why on earth did McCain not capitalize on this stuff? How easy would this have been? Sour grapes now, I know. I guess I am just saying that some times I think that maybe, just maybe, I am listening to the wrong things and I have got it all wrong. Then I start reading and googling, and BLAMMO it is worse than I thought.

Make no mistake we have a Statist, Central Planning, Capitalist Hating Anti-Liberty Radical in the White House, and Race ain’t got a damn thing to do with it.

A high-ranking official at the taxpayer-funded leftist group that conducts fraudulent voter registration drives has pleaded guilty to conspiracy for organizing a scheme that illegally paid workers to register new voters.

As a Nevada field director for the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), Christopher Edwards paid canvassers—many of them “lazy crack heads”—to register new voters for the 2008 presidential election. He also set illegal quotas of at least 20 voters a day for canvassers to keep their job and offered an additional $5 for registering 21 or more.

ACORN’s shady quota system is illegal in Nevada as well as most states and the Chicago-based community group with strong ties to President Obama faces criminal charges across the nation. As part of Edwards’ guilty plea, he is cooperating with authorities and will testify against several high-ranking ACORN regional officials. 

His testimony could strengthen other pending criminal cases against the group and its crooked method of recruiting new voters in low-income, “underserved” communities. For its corrupt 2008 drives alone, ACORN faces criminal charges in Florida, New Mexico and Pennsylvania. In an effort to dismiss the charges in Pennsylvania, the group actually filed a federal lawsuit claiming that the state anti-quota law it violated unconstitutionally interferes with important political activity.

In previous elections, ACORN has been busted for falsifying information to register new voters in numerous other states, including Milwaukee, Missouri, Ohio, North Carolina and Colorado to name a few. In 2007 the group settled the largest case of voter fraud in the history of Washington State after seven workers were caught submitting about 2,000 fake registration forms.

ACORN’s well documented history of fraud and corruption led to an overdue congressional investigation that determined the community group is a criminal enterprise. A lengthy report recently published by the House Committee on Government Reform reveals that ACORN has repeatedly and deliberately engaged in systematic fraud and that the group hides behind a paper wall of nonprofit corporate protections to conceal a criminal conspiracy on the part of its directors, to launder federal money in order to pursue a partisan political agenda and to manipulate the American electorate.

Incredibly, the radical leftist organization with offices around the nation continues to receive massive amounts of U.S. taxpayer dollars for its various community programs. Earlier this year ACORN got a multi billion-dollar infusion—for “neighborhood stabilization activities”—from the monstrous economic recovery bill that was supposed to create new jobs and offer an immediate tax relief to stimulate the ailing economy.
