Inspector General unlawful discharge part Une and Part Deux from The Right Stuff

Practicing my French since we will probably start speaking French soon as socialist as we are becoming…maybe I should practice Farsi and German as well.

I was going to post on “The Perfect Post” Joel beat me to it.  So I was going to rant a while on the Walpin debacle…BNGfan beat me to it.  You guys are putting me out of work.  Don’t you know I am supposed to be the Kooky one?  Oh well.  I have to dig a little deeper into the murky depths of the internet for content now.

Enough silliness.  BlackandGoldFan did a great job putting this together and making the complete picture.

Obama to Walpin: You're Fired

Well, who among us couldn't have seen this coming? World Net Daily is reporting that Inspector General Gerald Walpin has been fired by the White House. His crime against Obamamanity? Doing his job.
As Inspector General, Walpin was given the task of investigating waste and fraud within the government. Isn't that a huge undertaking! Walpin uncovered gross misappropriation of AmeriCorps funds by the St. HOPE Academy program – run by Obama supporter and former NBA star Kevin Johnson. Walpin filed two reports of his findings with Congress. Then...BLAMO! Barry says, "You're fired."

"I think you have to look at the facts and the circumstances and reach your conclusions," Walpin said in a WND interview. "I will tell you that [my firing] came only after we had issued those two reports to Congress, and I don't think that's a coincidence."

Further, Walpin said, "I am convinced that I and my office are not guilty of any impropriety. In essence, I was fired for doing my job."

Independent, federal inspectors general are supposed to be granted special protection from political interference – thanks in part to a law co-sponsored by the then-Senator Barack Obama – to ensure that they are free to investigate waste and fraud uninfluenced by political cronyism.

According to the Inspector General Reform Act of 2008, co-sponsored by Obama, inspectors general do not serve at the president's pleasure and therefore cannot be fired without 30 days notice and written cause for the decision sent to Congress.

Walpin says that he was given an ultimatum by White House counsel Norman L. Eisen: Resign within the hour or be fired. Walpin refused to resign. You go, Gerald!!!

We knew Obama was a thug from the Chicago political machine, but countless numbers of people voted for him anyway. It seems that the Gestapo is alive and well.

Two More Inspectors General Fired

According to American Thinker, Gerald Walpin was not the only Inspector General fired by the Obamarx administration for doing their job. We're headed for a thugocracy.
In addition to Walpin ( I did a post on this recently; he was fired for blowing the whistle on AmeriCorps), Neil Barofsky and Judith Gwynne were also fired for uncovering impropriety within their respective assignments.
Barofsky was given the task of overseeing financial stimulus spending. From
Tom Hamburger and Peter Wallsten of the Chicago Tribune:

...now Neil Barofsky is embroiled in a dispute with the Obama administration that delayed one recent inquiry and sparked questions about his ability to freely investigate.
The disagreement stems from a claim by the Treasury Department that Barofsky is not entirely independent of the agency he is assigned to examine a claim that has prompted a stern letter from a Republican senator warning that agency officials are encroaching on the integrity of an office created to protect taxpayers.
Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, sent the letter Wednesday to Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner demanding information about a "dispute over certain Treasury documents" that he said were being "withheld" from Barofsky's office on a "specious claim of attorney-client privilege."
Judith Gwynne was acting Inspector General at the International Trade Commission (ITC). As per American Thinker:
Separately this week, the International Trade Commission told its acting inspector general, who is not subject to White House authority, that her contract would not be renewed.
Grassley had become concerned about her independence because of a report earlier in the year that an agency employee forcibly took documents from the acting inspector general.
"It is difficult to understand why the ITC would not have taken action to ensure that the ITC inspector general had the information necessary to do the job," Grassley wrote on Tuesday.
Less than three hours after the letter was e-mailed to the agency, the acting IG, Judith Gwynne, was told that her contract, which expires in early July, would not be renewed.

The Right Stuff: Corruption

The level of corruption is astounding. Where are the media, including Fox News? I haven't heard much about this from them. I know where the MSM are...and it's going on at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Kook: The only thing I will add is that the reason for Walpin’s firing eventually given by the Mighty House of O was that Walpin was starting to act senile.  Glenn Beck gave him the test used by medical professionals to determine mental impairment and of course, the guy is as sharp as a tack at age 75.  100% pure unadulterated Chicago Mob thug gangsta behavior.  Cronyism at its best.

Just another day in the House of Zero.
