The Left Can't Lead - Who Knew?

I am reading commentary after commentary of shocked journalists and politicos who are just astounded to find out -- Obama can't lead. He's a flounderer, a staller, a back bencher and an incompetent. Do I inhabit an alternative universe? No one saw this coming?

Obama is a media created myth who is more than likely a puppet for far more sinister forces. Problem is, those sinister forces have a belief system rooted in Marxism also. I do not know if they are any more capable than he. It's easy to destroy things. Much harder to govern and develop functioning systems that keep the people out of the streets with burning pitchforks. Much harder to extinguish that burning fire for freedom that exists in so many human beings.

Most importantly for leftism to exist, even in it's more democratic forms, anywhere in the world it needs, at least, one engine of productivity to cling it's parasitical claws into. We were that engine.

The plans for global governance, carbon taxes, control of free information and pillage and plunder of the American middle class, while reliant on chaos, left out one large factor. Reality. Real live, big problems are building and building. They require a leader who has real executive and leadership experience. One thing is clear, this puppet is lost. The entire Potemkin Village he has built around him in Washington appears to be equally as lost. Deer in the headlights.

The left only operates from a position of strength from the sidelines and armchair quarterbacking. Ginning up class envy and creating divisions is what they do best. Those are skills that are safely practiced from a position of non-leadership and taking on the status quo. That is why leftism, historically, is a revolutionary movement. Beyond the revolution, it falls apart. Then it is either reforms to free market solutions, mass imprisonments, deaths and tree bark soup for dinner or huge segments of underground economies that go, largely, ignored.

To know the future we must remember the past. Obama's decisions are rooted in his leftist ideology. His lack of decisions are because leftism holds no answers for the problems he faces. He is building with a faulty blueprint and old, used unstable foundation in a neighborhood of houses that were built on the same. Problem is, all those houses collapsed some time ago and the left refuses to acknowledge that fact.

I believe it may well be intentional. This notion that "the left can't lead" will ultimately play into the goals of the statists. After Obama, we will react in a most typical way. We will want a strong president and leadership in DC. Ultimately, this will probably lead to more "patriot" acts, i.e. a stronger central government which will inevitably lead to a statist dictatorship. This is why It is of extreme importance that after obama, we pick a Reagan and not a "globullist" Bush or Clinton or McCain. I can't stress enough the importance of cleaning house in 2010 and getting the right choice in office in 2012!!!
Well said Andrew and I agree.

Thank you, and more importantly thank you for reading our posts.
Typically Fantastic KMBR, and thanks to everyone who comments.

I too worry about the pendulum swinging the other way just as hard as it swung to the outer left reaches of the galaxy.... Tyranny is Tyranny and I will not enjoy having my rights intruded upon by the Red Party or the Blue Party.

I no more want anarchy than I want to live under the eye of sauron. I dont want to go on a witch hunt (ok... yes I do, but it would ulitmately be destructive) to out and marginalize every 60s radical protester burned out hippie patchouli eating dope smoking commie lover out there...

I want my freedom and your freedom protected... and I want to be left alone...and I want you to be left alone. to succeed or to fail.

You sound more and more "libertarian" all the time. In our political system, libertarianism almost always ends up being the most logical way to solve problems. The federal government is increasingly trying make problems instead of solving them. To get things done, it must happen locally, not nationally. It is my hope that a time comes when we care more about local politics than national politics. Look at the border issue. Which do you think will accomplish more: Arizona passing a simple ordinace regarding their border or crapitol hill passing 15,000 pages of comprehension immigration reforms on top of the laws already on the books?
I agree Andrew. It's like a game of "kick the can". Both parties leading us to the same destination. The R party does it under the banner of national security and not being the Democrats. The D party does it by expanding entitlements and not being Republicans.

Thank you. In the past, it seemed like no one saw the similarities between parties besides me. Among my more religious friends, speaking against the elephants was almost taboo. At the same time, others that I knew claimed that they would vote labor/democrat till the day they die. We can't afford to keep picking "lesser evils" anymore.
