You Might have noticed a new look and a new title

We have been thinking about this for a while and I have been tinkering with it.

Consider this a trial run…  let’s get some feedback.

What do you guys think?  Is this an improvement?

For the record 11 of you have commented in overwhelmingly positive fashion to the new template. It is just that it was done with the standard blogger commenting system and now they are hidden....I don't like it either... see my post on comment woes.

This is why I am resistant to changing things when they work....but it was necessary and if ya'll bear with me I am sure this will all be sorted out.
I like the new look - I would get rid of the search stuff at the top, email me if you need any help!
I agree with LCR. The search stuff really should go. It's kind of distracting IMO.
Thank you both. I cannot speak for Kook, but I believe that was intended to make it easy to fact check our material. this is really a "trial and error" process and your opinions are very valuable to us. If you have other ideas regarding content or format, please let us know.
Thanks AD33!!!!

Well I liked it but if other people find it distracting I understand. I removed it.
Does anybody hate to see it go?

I actually like the idea of using the search engines as a way for readers to verify our writings. Would it be possible to move them to a less assuming area and possibly cut back from 3 to 2 or just use google. Would it be possible to put them under a section called factchecker and put a notice asking that if anyone proves anything we write to be false abs we will be happy to correct our mistakes. Not long ago, I did a V.O.D about Starbucks. While it looked right, dilligent factcheckers made a strong case that the story was unprovable so i posted a correction. I
don't want to stoop to the level of the MSM and having fact checkers on the blog is helpful, but those may have been in the wrong location. However while I think the google link could be moved to a less prominent location. That's my suggestion for want I think is a good compromise between 2 opposing views.
