White House asks for Americans to turn in Americans (UPDATED)(AGAIN)
This ought to send chills down the spine of every non-Kool Aid drinker in the country, perhaps the world:
Opponents of health insurance reform may find the truth a little inconvenient, but as our second president famously said, "facts are stubborn things."
Scary chain emails and videos are starting to percolate on the internet, breathlessly claiming, for example, to "uncover" the truth about the President’s health insurance reform positions.
...
There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.
In response, and enraged, Steve Schippert by email has passed this on:
All, Leftists and terrorists have one thing in common: You can scream at 'em, you can argue with 'em, you can chase 'em and you can even shoot 'em. But for God's sake, just don't laugh at 'em.
Well, considering the White House's brazen request for American citizens to "flag" other American citizens by turning their HealthCare content into the White House Dissent Management Bureau via flag@whitehouse.gov , this brownshirt tactic needs to be laughed at.
How: Turn yourselves in. All of us and everyone we know. Report yourselves to the White House Dissent Management Czar - and in such volume - as to make a mockery of the entire sleazy endeavor.
Think of it as reporting yourself to the local PD for speeding. We'd all be emailing about 5 times per day. Well, every time you have a thought on HealthCare, much less write or speak about it, send the contents of the thoughts/words/conversation to flag@WhiteHouse.gov .
Operation Go Flag Yourself!
Get busy. This is not a joke, which is why we need to laugh at it. All of us. Often. And discredit it for what it is: A brownshirt tactic from within our own government. The DNC, not to be left out of the divisiveness being promoted by Obama, has added to the mix:
Let there now be little doubt... this President, and his leftist, radical cohorts, are not who they claim to be.
Quite the opposite... they are sowing the seeds of discord, willfully, some would say skillfully, with malice and purpose.
A coup has taken place. Radicals are in charge. They have a complicit media in their hands.
If we do not now see what this is about, we may never see.
UPDATE: Bookworm has an opinion worth sharing:
Bottom line: We have a representative democracy in which our elected representatives want us to keep our mouths shut. They think we’re stupid, shrill and easily led. I hope that, come this this November and every other November, voters remember the low esteem in which their own public servants hold them.
UPDATE II: Bruce Kesler has posted what he sent to the White House:
Being a loyal ObamaMinion, obediently following the directions of our Great One, I am sending this email as requested to the White House to report naysayers. I have criticized the various plans for ObamaCare, even though I am not fully aware of all their details since their drafters have protected me from seeing their thousands of pages of tiny-type, thus shielding me and my eyes from strain and saving medical costs as promised. My decades of experience and earned credentials in health care are, obviously, brainwashing me from grasping the opportunity to pay more for less. I won’t name names of my fellow critics at Maggies Farm, with similar claims to expertise, who use pseudonyms to either hide that they are secretly receiving large stipends from lobbyists or that they really don’t exist and have spent years constructing elaborate covers. In full spirit of cooperation I must also inform on my wife, raised under state-directed health care in Europe, who refuses to wait months for treatment of her ailments as she was raised to and for not using cheaper outmoded medicines, instead quickly going to the doctor here and using more advanced drugs. Similarly, I must denounce my sons for asking whether I will be there for them even though I am an older Dad whose coming senior medical costs may be more expensive than a taxpayer rebate on trading in the old car I would leave for them so they can have a new one. Heil Obama!
