A little too late to appeal to Morality

 The blogs are on fire regarding this and I started not to post anything, but I might as well throw my .02 in.  For those of you who have not heard yet:

Polls continued to show slippage in support for the president's approach, although Americans expressed even less confidence in Republicans' handling of health care.

Chairman Zero, the man who said we were not a Christian Nation, The same dude who called us all Bitter and said we Cling to our Guns and our Religion is now trying to appeal to America’s sense of Morality and Faith.  The Ol’ “Do it for the Children” approach.  The Man who was going to “put science back in its’ rightful place”.  A fearless proponent of social planning and secular progressive moral relativism at its’ best is now saying supporting Zero Care is the moral and religious thing to do?  

Hey, Barry, if you had started the argument like this instead of systematically kicking every one of us in the proverbial testes it *might* have worked out a little better for you.  Having now thoroughly insulted us at every turn, with the back up vocals provided by your evil minions Pelosi, Frank, Feinstein, Boxer, Reid, Conyers, Saunders, etc.; we of the Bitter Clinger crowd might not be much inclined to go along with your new tune.

Something about non combusted hydrocarbons expelled vertically in an individual’s posterior come to mind…

The arrogance of him attempting this argument is simply astounding.  He has a brother living in accommodations about as nice as a porta potty, and Auntie Zetuini whom he dearly loved in his book, but is now willing to let live in Public Housing, and probably get deported.  And NOW he wants to “be my brother’s keeper” because it is the “Moral” thing to do?

The only reason he is resorting to this is because he is LOSING. BADLY.  Maybe it is because he realizes that the seasoned citizens would like to go ahead and live a while longer, and they vote, and there are a lot of them, and a large percentage might listen to their preacher.

BAH!  We are not buying it are we?

Let’s review who has been insulted so far in this sham of a Presidency.  NRA members, Evangelicals of every stripe, Conservatives, The elderly, the post office workers, the small businesses (especially plumbers), doctors, cops, our Air Force, the British, the Israelis, anyone making over $250k a year, Automakers, Insurance companies, Banks, The Coal Industry, The Oil Industry, Bloggers, Fox news, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh and all their listeners, and the list goes on.  He is slowly learning that these tactics might not be helpful for the long term.
