Funniest Thing I Have Read all Day : Obama’s Favorite Musician

I was reading comments all over today and this one jumped out at me:

“Obama could come out and say he loves Lenin and most of the libtards that voted for him would think he meant he was a Beatles fan”.

Sheesh!

Now that’s funny, I don’t care who you are!

Lenin (the elder) was horrible at music. Of course, the libtards you mention wouldn't have studied about Lenin enough to know anything more than he was a Soviet "hero." People like us actually study the little details about despots to figure out what caused them to go off the deep end. I have come up with a new general term for the libtards, commies, leftyloons, etc. They are the anti-liberty movement. We are pro-liberty. It's plain and simple. Ask yourself, is anything that heads toward statism whether it is fascist, socialist, communist,theocratic, monarchic etc. less than anti-liberty? Under the progressives since the 1890s, have our liberties not been gradually taken away. Slowly, at first. They would go after people more on the fringes of society. Minorities/foreigners and their traditions were especially targeted. When pot was made illegal right after the turn of the century, it was only used by inner city blacks, and mexicans. The blacks used it because they couldn't afford alcohol and the mexicans grew it traditionally. Opium was the same way with oriental immigrants that worked on the railroads. Then the prohibition movement spread to alcohol which hit everyone and it didn't last because it instantly caused more harm than good.Those things lead to the government wanting to control every aspect of your life. In reality, progressivism is nothing more than the taking of liberties and does more harm than good. When it's okay to go arrest "that guy" because he is doing something you don't agree with (excluding harming others), then don't be upset when the same thing happens to you down the road because you do something that they don't like...such as eating a french fry or reading a Bible. That is why we have a government wanting to control our healthcare as every aspect of your life can be attributed to or controlled through health care. Now I fear a line has been crossed where regaining our liberties will require actions similar to what our founding fathers had to do against the Brits. I don't want to go there, but the day that my healthcare gets messed with, will be the day I am off the peaceful fence. That will be the day I will regard this government as my enemy and will have an enemy in me. If you were to walk a mile in my shoes, you would understand why I feel this way.
