No olympics for Chicago: blame Bush




At least that is what the Jr Senator from IL, Roland Burris says.
"Senator Rowland Burris of Illinois, the Senator who was appointed to fill President Barack Obama’s vacant Senate seat, blames George Bush for Chicago not getting the Olympics in 2016. Burris stated in an interview, shortly after the announcement, that the image of the U. S. has been so tarnished in the last 8 years that, even Barack Obama making an unprecedented pitch for the games could not overcome the hatred the world has for us as a result of George Bush."


Yep, apparently this is the U.S.'s chickens coming home to roost because of how dismissive and derisive the United States has been in the past.

What. A. Dipshit.

That is Obama at his finest. He lowers the pResidency to the level of every other tinhorn dicatorship in the world by appearing right at home with the tinhorn dictators thugs and assholes at the UN, then the tinhorn dictators, thugs and assholes on the olympic committee made a complete joke out of Obama. They can blame Bush all they want but the rest of the world RESPECTED Bush. They would have awarded the olympics to America out of FEAR if Bush pushed for them like Obama did.

You are right but liberals think everyone should do as they say, not as they do. That is why their biggest blog is called "move on" and yet they are the last ones to do so. They have the biggest majorities in Congress in my lifetime and they still whine about and now want to investigate the Bush Administration. I was not a supporter of the Bush administration as a felt it was a wasted opportunity to reign in the size and scope of Government. That being said, Bush is not President anymore. When Bush was President, where was the blame on Clinton for letting foreign affairs fester as he did. Some folks did, but not our President and Congress. Bush could have said "it was Clinton's fault" all day every day and had a decent reason to, but he did no such thing.

I really hope that the fools telling Obama what to say keep on blaming Bush right on through November of next year. Then obama's epic fail will be spelled out clearly in a neutering of Obama by the American people.

There are many things I blame on Bush. Too much spending, lack of immigration fixing, but had Bush pushed for these olympics, we would have gotten them as the rest of the world respected us when Bush was Prez. Since when does having every communist government in the world like us actually help? They liked Carter too, so much in fact that a bunch of our diplomats got an extended vacation in Iran.

I looked at your blog. I am not convinced we are discussing the same "Bush". If we are, I have no clue what "FTL" means. I know most text language but have never read that one. If you are among the rabid communists who blame Bush for everything then explain how Obama doing everything Bush did wrong times 10 helps. If you think I was a Bush fan, You are nuts. If you agree with the point made here, then you understand that Obama ran as the guy who could fix all this, not make excuses for why his policies are ineffective.

It is a cloudy day here. I guess that is Bush's fault too, along with Pamela Andreson's STDs. If Bush had promoted a good Nazi single payer healthcare plan, Pam's STD's could have been cured by the gubment, right? Oh, I forgot, Hitler had a public option plan in his government and he also had STDs that were never cured, only hidden.

Burris is simply a paid lackey who says what his puppeteers want. It is his puppeteers who are the dumb ones. Politics is a results driven business. People will not accept another year, much less 3 more years of "it's Bush's fault." Even Saturday Night Live has figured out that they cannot squeeze anymore life out of making fun of Bush and now will have to make fun of the anointed one. Meanwhile, every time Obama blames Bush for his problems, his poll numbers drop another point or two. Many people are already referring to the Bush years as the "good old days." Especially here locally, our jobless "migrant worker" population is expressing that sentiment. They don't have the same inhibitions about talking politics in public as Americans do, and I understand Spanish so I hear many things not intended for me to understand.
