This is where I fit on the Nolan Chart.

Your answers suggest that you are a conservative libertarian. The yellow star shows more precisely where you fall within the conservative libertarian region of the Nolan chart.

How does one take this test? I went to the website but it didn't say exactly how to take this test. It seemed to be somewhat disorganized.
Thanks alot. I was not far from you in where I was placed with my viewpoint being closer in the Libertarian column but halfway toward the conservative side. That is where I expected to be.

This was a very good test. I suggest everyone who follows this blog take it and see where you land.

Hmm.... more libertarian than I thought. I still think I fall more in line with conservative philosophy

I realized my earlier post was a little ambiguous. I took the quiz and MY results were more libertarian than I expected. However, there is a lot of common ground between conservatives and libertarians.
Maybe that is because most self identified "conservatives" are far closer to the libertarians than they realize. They are also drifting away from the republican party as it is today. That is why the Republican party needs to change course and come back to it's base rather than trying to reach to the left.
Correction: The republican party is drifting away from most self identified conservatives.
I have taken this test and on that is at ontheissues.org and sometimes I am more libertarian than others. The second time I took the nolan test I was straight up libertarian. It just depends on a couple of questions and I do not always agree with A or B completely.

I am the same way, there are several questions where my views are in between the conservative and libertarian answers. Question one was that way for me.
