Call uour representatives Make sure they vote no on the Waxman-Markey cap and trade bill. This is the most important thing yet. We must not see this pass. If it passes we better all start reading Ferfal's blog.

I emailed my representative already this morning. Unfortunately, I don't hold out much hope due to the fact that my rep is John Murtha.

My sentiments exactly. That old fart is so corrupt and so far left it makes me ill. The problem with the 12th District is that Johnstown and Altoona, both with heavier populations, are big Democratic cities with union histories. They vote, and we're stuck with their bad decisions.

My rep is now WEXLER! (at least from now on I can try to get him out). No hope there either but when you call the Congressional switchboard number that Beck gave last night, they have no clue where you live. I have 2 numbers from 2 area codes (1 cell from N. Florida) here and am using both to call....
Sounds like the whole thing is still crashed, like last night so they must be getting obscene numbers of calls. I have set both phones to auto-redial so if a line opens up, I promise to rant for all of us!
The WAXMAN-MALARKEY BILL must not pass.

ewww yes...but now I can vote against him. So, it's good and bad. It's because my neighborhood got annexed by Palm Springs in a neighborhood vote which changed things around. The change has been nothing but good for us here (locally).

We may have surrounded them as "cram it down our throats" Pelosi is having a debate right now instead of a vote. I believe that if she had the votes, there would be no debate. My phones are both still "auto-dialing" as they have been for the last 4 hours with no success at getting through.
