My beef with Rush! pt2

Remember my beef with Rush Limbaugh calling all us independents liberals and scared to say it??? Well apparently poll numbers bear me out here. Independent support for Obama has fallen by 15% to 45%. Such a number at the 2008 election would have elected Mccain. Such a number or better, continued drop in 2010 will throw out a bunch of incumbents on both sides. Polling also seems to show most independents are CENTER RIGHT. It turns out were not so liberal after all. Sorry Rush but you got this one WRONG!!!! Maybe you need less than half your brain tied behind your back on this one.

Andrew - YES, YES, YES! Rush is so wrong on this. He has lost credibility on so many things with me, why can't people see this? I could sit and talk to you for hours on how HUGE of a Rush fan (the band too) I used to be, all the way back to when I was in high school. He changed over the years. He became a beltway Repub and in many ways very contradictory. Today I'll take Glenn Beck over Rush big-time. Thanks for putting this up. BTW, I was plugged by RsMcCain! Hope I can one day have a huge following and pull you guys along too...

I have not been a Rush fan for many years now. I first heard Beck on 9/12/01. That was hands down the best radio show I have ever heard. Ever since, I have thought: "this guy speaks for me." From time to time in the various places I lived I could not hear his radio show, then to my surprise he popped up on CNN. I knew that wouldn't last but if he ever got to Fox, he'd take out wishy-washy Orielly and Hannity: the Republican/GM apologist. Both I believe are either on some level naive or dishonest on many issues. I make no bones about my independence and why I am so. Even KOOK and I don't necessarily see things the same way here but we are so like minded every where else that that's okay with me. I said yesterday that If I could have 1000th the impact of Beck, along with the rest of you having the same; we could and can make really big changes to this country. As you can see, I can talk on this one for hours too. Even while not feeling all that great.
Rush is right on many things. O'reilly is an egomaniac worse than Rush. Hannity i just cannot get really excited about. But I agree Rush is wrong about this. I still say there is no percentage in disagreeing with him 98% of the time, because he is right most of the time. He has also done more for conservatism than anyone in the last fifty years except Reagan.

But Glenn is definitely my #1 choice. Rush is 2nd.
KOOK, you are not wrong. Rush is right far more than he is wrong. He has also been the driving force that at least got Bush elected over Gore and Kerry (imagine those two as pres????) I am just not a fan of the attitude more than anything else, and Rush is still an apologist for the Repubs as the Repubs have mozied to the left. If Rush would be harder on the Repubs who have moved left and not so hard on those of who have seen it and left the Repubs as I have, I would have no beef with Rush whatsoever.
One more thing, the rest of you folks can see that KOOK and I don't always agree on everything. While this is a most unusual event, I believe that this shows we are both being exactly who we are all the time and that counts for far more than whether you agree on everything.
Glen is also my #1, with Rush and Boortz in a distant tie for 2nd. So we really aren't so far off there either. Remember this to, that I thought it was worth posting a beef with Rush, not Mathews or Obermann from PMS.NBC
