Kook Philosphy by Toby Keith

This is my ringtone:

I'm a man of my convictions,
Call me wrong; call me right
But I bring my better angels
To every fight

You may not like
Where I'm goin
But you'll sure know
Where I stand

Hate me if you want to
Love me if you can

The whole song is great; fits me perfect

No reason for the post...just driving and listening...

While i'm not a big "country music" as in the music itself, the words and what the people behind it stand for (excluding the dicksie chicks) truly represent America. I don't understand why every other form of music on Earth supports communism. If a communist system got put into place, the people making music would not be allowed to say anything controversial. The whole music industry, like the television industry is hypocritical. If Hollywood got the government that they want, they would not be allowed to do anything controversial either. Look at England, before they sold their soul to government, they had a huge influence on world music and fashion trends. Remember the Beatles in the 60's, U2 and Depeche Mode in the 80's? Now that they have socialism, all they contribute to the world is soccer hooligans. That would make me proud to be English, yes sir! Now we are going the same route and our artists, actors and musicians are stringing up the noose to hang us with.
Great message. My wife and I are going to see him and Trace Adkins in July. Sometimes it seems easier to say what you feel in a song than by just saying it.
