I cannot make up my mind

Comments Please,

Romney says all the right things, but I cannot force myself to trust him...what do the rest of you think of him?

Palin is great, Hot, Smart, Hot, Conservative, and Hot, but I worry the Media exposure has ruined her. What do you think?

Huckabee...Too nice right? I think we need somebody who will call it like it is.

Jindal...I wonder if he lacks some sort of "it" factor?

Let's have a hearty discussion on this; who should we all be pulling for?

I think Palin has the charisma and the likability to beat the media. Remember the press didn't like Reagan either. It's how you present yourself and attract American to you. She does that well.

I totally think she could pull it off if they didn't completely blackball her.

I am not even sure she is interested.
Blackball by the media? Don't you think the media has lost it's power and the internet "media" is taking it's place? Or, at least FOXNEWS.
Yes and no. The great unwashed sheeple still watch network news.

Do you think a candidate could get elected without any cooperation, or worse, a constant drumbeat of libelous attacks from the msm?
While you are right, more and more people are seeing that the story they are being fed on NBC and CBS at 6:00 p.m. doesn't match what is happening in the real world. That is why readership, and membership of our blogs is growing quickly. I also believe that reader interaction is attracting people too. Unlike the big networks, we listen to you and talk to you and most importantly we value your opinions. We aren't in it for ratings or money, we are in it because we care.
And I am not totally sure if she isnt more populist leaning than straight conservative.
You are correct. The media hates Palin because she reminds them of Reagan. I believe she will be our next President.
Well that would be awesome, we can hope.
Why do you think that they blackballed Palin. Being Gov of Alaska which is larger than most nations, she understands energy, (look how she actually got oil money into the hands of the taxpayers! She knows foreign policy too. Her state borders Russia and Palin has to deal with all sorts of issues regarding fishing and drilling rights. Palin is a TRUE ENVIRONMENTALIST.(not like the greenpeace environazis) She has made sure that the companies drilling and fishing in Alaska have kept the environment pristine for tourists. Most importantly, Palin cleaned up the corruption in her own party. Tell that to Pelosi, Reed, Obama, Mcconnel etc.

I believe this shows where I stand on this one. Is Palin a pure right-winger on every issue, probably not, but she would drill us out of our economic problems and would lower taxes too. Palin is the next Reagan and my gut feeling says that Palin will be our first woman President. All the others don't have the resume, but Jindal is a close second.

Romney is a slick northeasterner who is not a true conservative. I believe he would govern like the Bush's. More like a RINO.

Huck is the real deal. He's very nice on his t.v. show, but he definitely has the chops to be President. I believe he'd make a great V.P. for Palin. He would be especially good with budget matters.

I think the media would all but prevent her from even having air time. I think mccain threw her under the bus. I think she is great but may have too much baggage at this point but I don't know
All the same was said about Reagan in 77-78. As we head toward 2012, the people will remember that the media pushed to get Obama elected and they will pay a political price for that bias too. The best thing Palin can do now is lay low, and run Alaska as best she can. Her time will come.
You are right about Mccain throwing Palin under the bus which showed why he wouldn't have made a good president.
I totally agree with you. Palin/Huckabee 2012 (if we can get that there and the country doesn't fall into the abbess before then!)
I had wondered about a palin/jindal ticket.
Palin/Jindal would be great. Someone who I think would be an amazing president if folks could get past his name is Jeb Bush. He was an excellent governor and proved that he can handle whatever is thrown at him. If 4 hurricanes in a month doesnt test one's mettle, what does. A Palin/Bush ticket would be great or Palin/whomever with Jeb as head of homeland security would be good too.

This notion that the Conservatives/Republicans are dead is completely absurd. To put it in college football terms, we are "reloading".
Many of you aren't old enough to remember as I am, but Reagan was treated exactly the same way Palin was after Ford lost in 76. Reagan was called a Redneck, Buffoon, war monger, etc. Aren't those the same things Palin was called?
Now, the far left communists are becoming upset because Rush and Newt are having a bigger influence on the dinosaur media than the communists. I believe that is because the owners of the media outlets are now afraid of being nationalized. I also believe that while those folks are liberal, the threat of losing freedom of speech and press is a huge unforseen threat to the dinosaur media. Basically Obama has moved so far to the left so quickly that even liberals are alarmed.

I was driving home from the dentist's office today and a certain liberal female who I can't stand was on and her liberal callers were not happy with Obama's move to the left much to my surprise.

I believe that the majority of Democrat voters, while left of us aren't full blown communists and the change Obama has wrought is a tad more than the rank and file dems expected.
